Pink Rose Cakes is the result of a long-held dream of founder Fay Millar to run her own bespoke cake design business.
Fay began experimenting with cake decorating as soon as she was old enough to hold a wooden spoon and mixing bowl though the early attempts were not so much childhood culinary Picasso as typical childhood mess. However, by the time she reached her teens she was regularly making cakes for family birthdays and celebrations. In 1995 she made her first ever cake with sugar flowers and a long lasting love of cake decoration began to grow.
However, cake design did not become a profession until a decade later with Fay studying Law and French and going on to become a journalist in the intervening years. It wasn't until after the birth of her first daughter Phoebe in 2006 that she decided to take the plunge and form Pink Rose Cakes. The cake business has since grown, as has her family with the birth of second daughter Maisie in 2009 and she is fast gaining a reputation for fun and comical cakes.
Pink Rose Cakes strives to produce excellent and individual cakes. Ranging from classic and elegant to fun and quirky, each cake is handmade to order with taste, attention to detail and fabulous decoration being of paramount importance.
